Don't Judge A Book goes to the BALTIC

A couple of months ago myself and the other Applied Arts girls created an exhibition of Artists Books under the title  'Don't Judge A book by its Cover'.

We have been extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to display the at the BALTIC Centre of Contemporary Art!!

Today was the first day of the exhibition and I spent the day up in Newcastle manning the space. I met some wonderful people and had lots of lovely comments and compliments about my work (more images to follow).

Dissertation Prize

I was extremely proud of myself last week when I was awarded 'runner up' for the 'Principles Dissertation' Prize at University.

I came second out of 7 nominees across the whole of CCAD.

Feeling just a little bit embarrassed about having
to get up in front of everyone to receive my prize

BA Hons Applied Art Degree Show

Today I have had a 'sample refinement day' and a mini group crit with my amazing friends at university.

We got all of my samples out in my bay and had fun deciding which ones worked best and which ones I should take forward to develop further.
